Connecting People, Nature and Community

The Isle of Man's natural environment is one of its greatest assets. We use this powerful resource to improve lives, reduce health inequalities, and build resilient, connected communities.

About Connect Outdoors

We work with children, young people, and adults across the Isle of Man , delivering outdoor activities, accredited education, therapeutic nature-based interventions, and social prescribing pathways that support both preventative healthcare and ongoing wellbeing.

Biosphere Partners

As a UNESCO Biosphere Partner, environmental responsibility runs through everything we do.

Nature as a Resource

We believe the natural environment is a powerful tool for health, learning, and personal growth.

Inclusive by Design

Our programmes are designed to reach some of the most marginalised groups on the Isle of Man, ensuring that the benefits of nature and outdoor experience are accessible to everyone.

Proud to be a UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man Partner

We are delighted that Connect Outdoors is now an official Partner of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.

Everything we do at Connect Outdoors is built on the belief that the Isle of Man's landscapes and seas aren't just somewhere nice to visit. They are a resource we can use to help people feel better, connect with each other, and find their place in the world. Partnering with the Biosphere gives us a wider platform to champion that belief, and to work alongside other organisations who share the same commitment to protecting and celebrating what makes this Island special.

As we grow, we'll keep weaving the Biosphere's aims into our work: caring for our natural environment, supporting a sustainable Manx economy, and helping our community build a genuine, lasting connection with the land and sea around them.
